Literature Text

"The sky is a swallowing black hole of darkness. There is no hope for nearly anything that is in it's path. The only things that seem to survive in its horrid location are the few brave souls, these souls shining in the dark sky, giving off lights of hope to blossom in our peoples hearts. The largest soul, our god, giving off warmth and love to the people in the village." A voice boomed through a room, bouncing off light blue walls like ping pong. The bright light of the moon shadowed through a window, reaching a small brilliantly crafted wood cradle. Inside that cradle, lay a young child sleeping peacefully unaware of its intruder. The sound of someone walking through the room played with the child's ears, making the noise only in its dreams. Soon, something paused on front of the cradle. Long, pointy fingers reached out and stroked the child's fuzzy, dark chocolate brown hair. The child winced at the touch, but didn't awaken. A frightening grin was forced onto the figures face as he deeply laughed in his throat.
"That old telling is a terrible way to speak to a child who will not live for more than a century." He stated as his fingers began stroking the child's long, pointy ears. His eyes narrowed on the child's small, sparkly wings that were pressed against the warm covers. He could feel the child's warm, calm breath on his fingers. He pulled his hand back and smirked at the child.
"Sleep well, enjoy the world while you can, Isabay." He hissed before leaving through the window, making no sound.

*50 years later*
It was silent in the room, the only sound was the soft scratching of a pencil against paper. The morning sun peeked through a window, as if to say hello to whoever would listen. The rays of sun reached out to a young girl sitting on a plush bed. She had a notebook in her lap, her dark, but bright, eyes darted around the page as she continued to write. Her knee-length hair was messy from sleep and was sprawled across the bed. She wore a long, silky night gown that hung loosely from her body. She had a concentrated look on her face as she wrote on the paper.
'This time I'll get finished before they call me!' She thought as she scribbled down words on the paper. Her long, pointy ears wiggled, her thin, sparkly wings shined in the sunlight, giving off beautiful colors to the walls. She could hear feet in the hallway as she wrote faster. Just as the large doors to her room opened she stood up on her bed.
"Done!" She yelled happily as she accidentally let go of her pencil, sending it towards the person who opening the door.
"Oof!" She heard as the pencil hit her maids forehead. She covered her mouth and jumped down from the bed, running towards the maid.
"I'm so sorry Krea! Did it poke you?" She asked as she looked at the maids forehead carefully. Krea laughed.
"I'm quite alright Miss. Isabay, did you finally finish?" She asked as she stared at the paper in Isabay's hand. She nodded viscously and smiled widely.
"Yes! I did,  I'm pretty proud of myself." She said, placing her hands on her hips. Krea smiled warmly.
"That's good, now we need to get you dressed and prepared for the prince." She reminded her. Isabay groaned and slumped on the floor.
"Is father still trying to marry me off?" She asked. The maid nodded and walked over to Isabay's closet. She swung open the doors and looked over the dresses.
"Perhaps you'd like to wear your silk gown? Or maybe the fluffed one?" Krea suggested as she pulled the two dresses out of the large closet. A playful look came across the young girls face as she stood up.
"Alright, I'll chose Krea. After you do my hair, I'll chose." She said as she sat down at a large mirror. Krea had a puzzled look as she walked over to her with a brush.
"Alright Miss. Isabay." She ran the brush through the girls long brown hair easily. Touching her hair afterword, admiring the soft feel.
SOO, I finally uploaded something on here. Should I continue?
